County Board Invocation according to Val Laymon

The below is always on the Agenda for the start of County Board meetings. Members take turns:

According to Merriam-Webster.com. the definition of Invocation is:

Calling on a higher power didn’t happen at last Thursday’s meeting. Member Val Laymon demanded everyone participate in deep breathing.

If you run into Val, ask her where “rights” come from. Prayer is part of the fabric of our society, Val must think she’s the higher authority.

I wish the camera had focused on the room. Some were stifling laughs according to people who were there. I’m surprised the now Democrat controlled County Board hasn’t erased God from the agenda yet.

  1. Do some members actually give a Christian prayer when it is their turn? Or invite a pastor to give the invocation on their behalf?;

  2. Marxists/Communist/Socialists cannot allow for religion in their perverted world. It challenges their authority. JK

  3. She’s not even leading it correctly—she goes from exhale straight into hold, which isn’t how she explained it
