Rep Eric Sorensen put this on his Facebook page after the Supreme Court decision. It sure looks like he agrees with the NAACP statement he also posted. Facebook comments weren’t kind to him, it even appears he backed off. Democrats want an Equality Act? Have they read the Declaration of Independence?
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
Equal opportunity is guaranteed. Equal outcomes aren’t unless you are a socialist.
The Equality Act removes the right of females to only compete against other females. It subjects them to abuse from biological males that are bigger and stronger and males in female locker rooms. If you have daughters why would you vote for nonsense?

Sounds like Sorensen missed Bidenflation. We didn’t.
Not to be argumentative, but there are cases of “girls” being in a boys locker room and the boys are visibly and, most importantly, AUDIBLY uncomfortable. The worst part is that the “boy” in question was the one who brought a camera into the locker room and started filming without the other boys consent, thus violating every single one of those boys’ civil rights and being a huge creep to boot.
You know who got suspended from school? The boys who complained did. Not the girl who filmed a teenage boys locker room.
The NAACP says they are simply being themselves. How is this statement any different than the “boys will be boys” statement that they are always whining about? This teenage girl took a camera into a teenage boys locker room and filmed them. Blah, blah, blah…….muh toxic masculinity……..derp.
So sick of hypocrites.
Even dumb animals are smart enough to know that male is male, female is female.
Somebody will comment gay animals exist. Wait for it
Equality issue, very simple solution have trans athletes compete against other trans athletes of the sex that they say that they are.
Problem solved.
You want equality build two locker rooms one for female trans and one for male trans.
Problem solved.
Otherwise there are only two sexes male and female that is Gods plan for the human race and if someone chooses to modify the sex that they are born with, your mental choice, we are NOT going to allow you to compete or shower with those of the opposite sex from your birth I would term that equality in sexes.
The Pantagraph published a story a week or so ago about two penguins both male of being together I guess that it was in support of gay pride month. I am waiting for the story where the penguins fly a gay flag. Just proves animals have brains that can also get confused.
The ruling was states can ban trans competing in women’s sports…. Right?…..not all states will. California? Illinois? New York?
What do you expect from Illinois after all this state supports those here illegally that kill innocent Americans our elected leaders can only be described as one way, dumb and dumber. But hey not my attempt to judge just an observation.
