One of the stated goals on the ISU website – “Assist ISU with the recruitment and retention of LGBTQ2IA+ faculty, staff, and students” (around 200 members now?)
Another is – “Promote the diverse cultures of the LGBTQ2IA+ community at ISU and in the local area”
And then to come full circle – An affiliated group is called Queer Ed Birds – “They have successfully fundraised and applied for grants to purchase books featuring queer characters written by queer authors, which they donate to local schools.”
To summarize – ISU recruits Queer students, staff and teachers who promote their culture in the community and provide queer resources for the local K-12 school systems.
What are you even doing with these posts? There is literally nothing newsworthy. You’re just shitposting.
Are you like this with your kids? If you have any, I can’t imagine the relationships would be anything other than strained, and Id imagine they have serious mental health issues due to you (which Im sure you dont accept responsibility for). You need serious help- for your family’s sake.
Maybe you should focus on their lives and mending all the damage created from these weird obsessions. Its never too late. Maybe even redirect your attention to your grandkids if you have any.

To TAKE TIME AND REFLECT…… This is VERY news worthy a$$hole. Our JudeoChristian Culture is being destroyed by the Evil One and the decent people left need to know who are the Devils helpers. Putting your face on the internet in support of this celebration of debauchery is disgusting and giving the middle finger to the cultural values of decent Americans. It is news worthy and I wouldn’t want someone working for me that is part of this societal sickness.
We used to have obscenity laws and public blasphemy laws on the books in almost every single city and state, because America was a Christian Nation, founded for Christians, by Christians. Liberalism and post modernism have whittled that away, little by little, and now we all see the fruits of this new poisoned tree.

American in the 1770s:
99% Christian.
The signers of the declaration and constitution were 90%+ Orthodox Christian, with a few Christian adjacent pseudo-deists who still believed in an active God intervening in the world(Providence, God of nature’s law, etc).
All 13 colonies and then states has at least one of the following: 1) official established state church denomination, 2) taxpayer funded churches and pastors 3) Christian religious tests for office. This was in the 1780s when the Constitution was signed. All of them had blasphemy laws and Sabbath laws on the books and enforced.
John Jay, first supreme Court Chief Justice, wrote the following the the Federalist Papers #2:
“With equal pleasure I have as often taken notice that Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country to one united people–a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs, and who, by their joint counsels, arms, and efforts, fighting side by side throughout a long and bloody war, have nobly established general liberty and independence.”
The supreme court majority opinion in “Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 143 U.S. 457 (1892)
” If we pass beyond these matters to a view of American life, as expressed by its laws, its business, its customs, and its society, we find every where a clear recognition of the same truth. The “facts” you provide don’t make the ironclad legal case you thing they do. Here are some reputations of those points. I could provide you some affirmative arguments as well as to why our federal government was not established to be Christian, but I have a life and would like to do other things 😂. Its not hard to find those arguments, and Id advise you to do that so you have a more nuanced, full view of the issue.
“America in the 1770s was 99% Christian.
This describes the culture of the population, not necessarily the constitutional character of the government. Many countries have overwhelmingly religious populations without establishing that religion as the basis of government.
“Every state had established churches, religious tests, Sabbath laws, or blasphemy.”
This is largely true for many states in the 1780s—but those were state governments, not the federal government. The Constitution originally limited only the federal government (until the 14th amendment passed after the Civil War, the Bill of Rights only applied to the Federal Government, noy individual States). So, when the Constitution was originally adopted several states still had established churches, several did have religious tests, while others were instead moving toward religious liberty. The important point is that the federal Constitution deliberately omitted several things common in state constitutions 1) No reference to Christianity. 2) No mention of Jesus Christ 3) No established national church 4) No religious qualification for federal office 5) The First Amendment prohibited Congress from establishing a national religion. The founders intentionally created this separation in spite of what many State Governments had in place. It shows that our founders created the federal government to be secular.

John Jay certainly believed America shared a common Christian heritage. But, a quotation from one founder—even one as prominent as the first Chief Justice—is evidence of his opinion, not definitive evidence of constitutional meaning.
Other founders emphasized different principles. For example, James Madison opposed religious establishments. Thomas Jefferson advocated a broad separation between church and state. George Washington repeatedly emphasized religious liberty for people of all faiths. Historians generally look at the entire documentary record rather than any single quotation. There are LOTS of quotes in the federalist papers and of our founders in general that directly contradict the view espoused by Jay.
“Holy Trinity v. United States (1892)”
The case did not hold that Christianity is the official religion of the United States. The actual legal issue was whether a church violated an immigration statute by hiring an English minister. The language about America being “a Christian nation” was not necessary to decide the case and not relevant to the legal issue at hand. The Court ultimately interpreted the statute narrowly because it believed Congress did not intend to prohibit churches from hiring clergy. Nothing about that decision establishes Christianity as the nation’s official legal identity.

Decided I would add a bit more. The claim that the United States was founded as a Christian nation isn’t supported by the nation’s founding documents or by many of the Founders’ own words. While many of the Founders were personally religious, the government they created was intentionally secular in its structure and did not establish Christianity as the nation’s official religion.
The Constitution itself is the strongest evidence. Unlike many governments of the 1700s, it never invokes Jesus Christ or Christianity. The only reference to religion is a prohibition on religious tests for public office: “No religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.”
The Founders also made their intentions clear in their own writings. Thomas Jefferson described the First Amendment as building
“a wall of separation between Church & State” in a letter to a Baptist group. John Adams, while president, approved the Treaty of Tripoli, which was unanimously ratified by the Senate. Article 11 of it stated that “The Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.”
Thats not to say that most Americans were not Christian, they were. Its a reaffirmatuon of the secular Constitution and Bill of Rights upon which our government is built.

Yeah- if we’re not accepting the Jefferson quote because of context, then that Adams quote isnt fair game either due to context. He is just saying that people need a sense of internal virtue, not that our government or laws should be based on Christianity. Still no direct response to why, if the founders wanted a Christian government, they didn’t mention it a single time in the Constitution? Or a rebuttal to the explicitly clear article in the Treaty of Tripoli signed by Adams and ratified by the Senate- unanimously I might add?
Good advice you should heed Diane. How would you like it if people dug through your family member’s social media posts and shared them.

Like I have stated time and time again I don’t care what you do behind closed doors just keep it out of my face.
I don’t hold anything against any gay person not my design but it’s so obvious with all these weird looking people and obscene posts that whatever activity that these people are promoting it’s not natural. Just like the person several years ago that was in a gay parade dancing down the street nude with plastic penis taped all over his body. I have never seen a straight person dancing down the street exhibiting weird sexual behavior.
Just my observation.

😂😂😂😂. So, what’s your problem here? The only person that put this drag show “in your face” was Diane. Even those pictures weren’t publicly shared. Those were posts that only went out to their friends on Facebook. Im guessing youre not friends with those two women. Heck, Im pretty engaged on local goings-on, and I knew nothing about the drag show until Diane shared these pics. Might want to tell Diane to stop putting the drag show “in your face.”

The Queer Coalition’s intention is to confront and offend what society considers normal, especially Christians. (thus their portrayal of evil) But they misunderstand Christianity. Our faith cannot be shaken because we love them (not their sin) as Christ does and this makes us unoffendable.

Drag shows in my face a contradiction. Nah it’s ok. But wait, next thing you know Dearborn, Michigan will be taken over by Islamists and call you to prayer three times a day announcing that bullshit over loud speakers waking everyone else up. The very fact that they wanted an audience of children for drag storytime speaks volumes. If they were moral and virtuous people they would not have had that event. Also, they would have done the entire Saturday to Sunday schedule of events inside for adults only. Drag is Adult Entertainment. It is men acting out their sexual fetish. Children absolutely do not need to be exposed to this. To expose children to this is Child Abuse. The parents who deliberately expose their vulnerable children to this are irresponsible.
I really don’t understand Gay Pride at all. They complain about ppl not accepting them. Then, they have pride events where so many go out of their way to be as obnoxious, crude, rude and in-your-face. It seems like they want to give other ppl reasons to reject and avoid them. They give me absolutely no reason that would make me want to attend this event.
I think most of us know who the father of Pride is.
AWOL – they don’t want people to accept them. If they are accepted, in their mind, they have failed. That’s what being queer is. Anything that is normal must be rejected. A never ending, always angry life. Sad.
Let me elaborate, when I say in my face it’s not a one on one personal statement I include small children that have no business being exposed to this kind of weird behavior including the teacher that displays a gay flag in his classroom. So when you say it wouldn’t be displayed to me if I didn’t see it on this page you are wrong I am not saying that to keep it behind closed doors just for my benefit. The pictures just confirm what unnatural behaviors occur with this behavior and if I been walking the streets of downtown Bloomington I would have been exposed to this . So keep it out of our children’s faces not out in the public go behind closed doors so those adults that want to partake they are welcome to go!
