Callahan was the driver on Raab Road who crashed into a power pole and was arrested for DUI, speeding more than 35 mph over the speed limit, reckless driving, and improper lane usage. Of course the power was out in that area; maybe a reader can comment on how long it was out.
The reader who told me this story heard it from a witness at the scene and suggested I FOIA the police incident report.
Callahan was driving to her job at Rivian and was running late.
Some of the first few pages are redacted, but eventually you can read what officiers on the scene reported. Heartland cameras caught her driving past at about twice the speed of the other traffic.
Awjelique should also be cited for preparing meals for sale unless she had a food service license from the health Department.
I wonder if she is still employed at Rivian?
I wonder if she will receive a bill for the power poles and electrical wires needed for the repairs?
