Unless you watched the whole presentation, you didn’t see this. Even if you did watch it you might have missed this SHORT clip.
The speaker is telling a story about people they serve rejecting a 25 cent and hour raise at work because it will put them over the income limits for receiving handouts.
They prefer to make less money to qualify for freebies.
You are looking at why socialism doesn’t work. When you have more takers than payers the economy collapses. The speaker said the quiet part out loud that anyone with a brain knows. Politicians will never say what she did because it blows the handouts create equality talking points.
The YWCA is selling child care as Infrastructure. They want public opinion to approve government handouts so people can work. It will create more poor people who don’t want to achieve work success because that puts them over the handout qualification limits.

Government is in the business of quick fixes for two reasons.
1. The quick fix gets votes.
2. The quick fix is easy and most politicians prefer easy.
But quick fixes, 9 times out of 10 end up costing more in the long run.
Give aways lead to higher cost of living (taxes) which lead to more poverty which lead to more quick fixes. Never ending, vicious cycles.
JB Pritzker signed the Dignity in Pay Act (HB793) into law which mandates that subminimum wage authorizations for people with disabilities, that are otherwise authorized under federal law, be phased out and completely eliminated in the state by Dec. 31, 2029.
While on the surface, the Dems think they are doing a great thing by providing “dignity” to the those who are disabled. But the reality is, there are SSDI income caps. So what this law does is limit the number of hours a disabled person can work! How is telling a disabled person that the governent is reducing the number of hours that they can be productive members of society dignifying?
The lower limit on the number of hours available to work, has an economic impact on businesses who are then forced to increase their employee count to cover those lost hours. Additional employee count increases employers benefit costs. Those are costs that need to be passed on to the consumers, which increases inflation.
Democrats are idiots.
