Bloomington wants people to report storm damage. If the County does, a drone will be required to see it.

Some corn fields show damage like this one:

The extent of this damage can’t be seen from the road. Many other fields have standing corn along the road but you can see corn just on the other side is not standing. From the road it is impossible to know how much of the field is affected.

If you drive out in the country and see a corn field with dark green streaks, that is damage. All of the corn is tasseled so the entire field should be the same color.

If you have a drone go fly it above a few fields. The video could be very telling. The only other ways to know the damage is to wait until harvest.
