Sen Dick Durbin is the number 2 guy in the Senate. More than 350 bills, including at least 40 jobs bills, passed by the House will NOT be discussed or debated in the Senate. The Democrats are afraid some of them might pass. That would blow the do-nothing talking points of the left that blame the GOP for everything.
Yesterday Dickie sent a Labor Day email. This is a quote:
I feel a special responsibility to always put middle-income and working families first in my priorities.
Why are middle class incomes falling under your leadership Dickie? Why haven’t you reigned in the EPA when their goal is to increase energy prices? Why do you still support ObamaCare when costs are double the projected, business aren’t hiring, and we can’t keep our insurance and/or doctor as promised? You are for the middle class? Go to a grocery store and see inflation! If you are for the middle class – please stop!
Dickie wants a minimum wage increase. Throw the peasants a few more bucks, uh Dick? How about pro-growth policies that increase the standard of living for everybody! Also from the Dickie email:
A decent pay check and a bright future are at stake in this critical election
A decent paycheck isn’t minimum wage Dickie.
It’s the coal miner’s checks that you support putting out of business.
It’s the Keystone pipeline jobs you deny workers.
It’s the jobs that don’t exist because of regulations you support.
A bright future doesn’t come from government Dickie – it comes from people making their own future!
DURBIN: “IF YOU HAVEN’T COMMITTED A SERIOUS CRIME, WE’RE NOT GOING TO DEPORT YOU”
Dickie wants millions more illegals competing for American jobs.
Dickie also wants you to pay to educate their children.
Still more: Dickie wants to overturn the 2nd amendment. He would rather you sit and wait for police to arrive than have the right to protect yourself.
Tobin said at last year’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on guns, Durbin compared Fordham University law professor Nicholas Johnson’s stance
on the Second Amendment to a “suicide pact.”
One more: Dickie tried to make Walgreens and Burger King villains for fleeing high tax rates. Dickie wants to let illegals in this country, but not allow anyone out regardless of the tyranny by government. All Dickie has to do is make our tax rates comparable to the rest of the world. Instead Dick calls them unpatriotic.
