New UPDATE concerning ISU!

By:  Diane Benjamin

If you are totally unfamiliar with the saga between ISU and my church, see this story:  http://blnnews.com/2015/10/21/isu-destroying-free/

Last Sunday church leadership sent an email to ISU terminating the relationship.

The church has now received an apology from an assistant to the President.  But it gets better!

Our Pastor talked with some of the families benefiting from the program.  He explained our position and they expressed gratitude that we tried to provide a space for them.  They also credit us with ISU finding space on campus for the group to meet!  The University now realizes how important the program is for their kids with autism and the Psychology Department.  After all, they are in the business of educating students.  Is there a better way than hands on education?

“. . . all things work together for good . . .” Romans 8:28

The church got some cleaning and repairing done, the trustees and volunteers that helped will eventually recover.

Now if we can do something about the black marks left on the floor the last time the building was used for an election . . .
