Becoming Normal

By:  Diane Benjamin

Jeff Giebelhausen finally got around to registering the LLC name he’s been using to sell his Bloomington plans under:  http://www.ilsos.gov/corporatellc/CorporateLlcController

On the agenda for Monday night:

Below is what will be required under the Resolution:  gieb

The plans include tons of staff time.  Just like Fazzini’s jet fuel garbage plans, it could all be a wasted.

Renner’s plans are nothing more than electioneering for union and government employee votes.

Neither cares if taxes are raised in the process.

Bloomington is becoming just like Normal.

Of course, that was the plan all along.  Stack the Council and tax the citizens into submission.

  1. There is no mention of the parking facility in the resolution. What to make of that? Is the City now going to build, own and maintain another parking deck?

    1. Not as originally proposed by Mr. G. The parking deck is critical to the success of the hotel and conference center. The entire project–hotel, conference center, parking–was sold as being privately owned and operated. The charges for the parking is to be part of the financing. Slight of hand!! Switch and bait!!

  2. This was PROBABLY included in the raise in our garbage fees, because THAT is what it smells, looks & feels like, and surely IS! PLUS it will make tax dollars, not cost us a cent, and bring people downtown. And Jimi Hendrix is doing a gig with Big Brother & the Holding Company in Franklin Park Sunday @ noon. I BELIEVE!
