Is WGLT attempting to deceive voters? Is their General Manager, who is on the ballot, behind it?
It’s corrupt enough WGLT controlled the debate with the Normal candidates, since RC McBride works for them, they should have recused themselves.
It gets worse! Karl Sila was not allowed to participate in the debate because he is a write-in candidate. WGLT also doesn’t mention on their website a blank line will be on the ballot: https://www.wglt.org/voter-guide-2019#stream/0

I thought the League of Women Voters was all about making sure every legal voter gets to vote. Information on who to vote for must not be that important – they co-sponsored the debates with WGLT that didn’t include Karl Sila.
Did RC McBride set the rules for the debate? He is the General Manager! Are we supposed to believe he had NOTHING to do with who participated and what questions were asked?
WGLT has proven they aren’t non-partisan or fair by their actions. This is just more proof of why a media person (McBride) should not be an elected official. The voters in Normal are being manipulated by WGLT.
Send them a message – you don’t need to vote for three, but these are the candidates who will stop the insanity of Uptown:

Of course they’re manipulating voters. Democrats like McBride specialize in that. They’ve done it for decades with the minority voters and they’re up to same games now.
