I’ve got some great researchers! The name of the guy she married is on her Facebook page – it isn’t Jose Rodriguez. Compare the mug shot below to this pic. Both are from Honduras.
Actually, the question still stands. Doubtful this woman had the money necessary in her personal account. Likely came from another source that gave her cash and the rest is history. Maybe this guy is like Sheen/Estevez family of film and TV. Has a look alike brother that uses his mother’s surname while he uses his dad’s.
Since a Keyla Rivera Melendez is listed as a 2016 Normal HS grad I agree. She either has a hidden cash provider or…..

I saw that but I will go with the listing I found that gave the graduates name as Keyla Rivera Melendez….anybody can put anything down on their facebook page. While I think little of the Pantygraph it was in the graduation listing for 2016. Since they would cut and paste it from the school’s info. there is a chance it might be accurate.
I’m guessing that his full proper name is Jose Dominick Ortiz Rodriguez, but maybe goes by Dominick Ortiz on Facebook since Jose is such a common name in the Spanish community. To me there is no question that they are the same person… the major questions are:
1) where did she get the $10k?
2) who did the vehicle belong to?
It really isn’t any of our business how she obtained the money. Now the question of who owns the van is a good question.
It isn’t our business? I’ll tell you right now. I work anywhere between 50-65 hours a week and i don’t have $10k cash laying around. I’d like to know where the hell they had that kind of money laying around. I’d like to know who thought it was necessary to give his wife enough money to bail him out.
It’s funny people have this much time on there hands to figure out how someone could possibly come up with 10k. Is it really that hard of a mystery? Look at the scum/pos’s that get busted daily in West Washington St/Market selling coke. They have that money on them all the time.
Mean time did they get Rivian Parkway passed? 🙄

Whoever runs this page is a complete racist. You can be from another country and he here legally. Family could have easily sold stuff to get the money. Everyone should have legal representation, he’s guilty. He should be put away forever…I understand being upset he was allowed a bail at all…but the rest? Complete racist crap!
He was bailed out the same day the bail was set by the judge. They sold $10,000 worth of stuff in a few hours? Calling people racist is now meaningless Amber. It was worn out years ago.
Amber,If you are in America illegally you commit a crime or worse yet kill an American you have no rights bail should not even be considered someone bails out an illegal hell yes I want to know where the money came from. If this line of thinking makes me a racist in your eyes then I guess I am a racist. By the way I believe you are a racist for expressing an opinion about this blog.
She could get the money from a bail bondsman. But he/she is going to require collateral. Because the bail bondsman is going to be on the hook for $100,000 if he jumps bail.
I suppose the family, extended family, friends could pool assets. If that’s the case, it kind of explains why he showed up for the arraignment.
