September 27th:

Connie Beard, Chairman of the McLean County Republicans announced that on Sunday September 27 the County is invited to honor McLean County  First Responders by attending a rally at the Corn Crib Stadium, 12pm-5pm.

Beard stated, “The purpose of the Support the Red White and Blue Rally is to say thanks and to tell our firefighters, our healthcare providers, and our police how much we appreciate all they do to serve our county during our COVID battle”  The event will include an exhibition softball game with teams made up of our first responders; displays and exhibits from various agencies; a thank you video booth for messages to our first responders, food concessions; and a time for community tributes.

A highlight will be the “Ball Dive for Charity” a fundraising event for three area charities- Boys and Girls Club, Community Health Care Clinic and Team Blue Line.  Safe COVID Practices will be followed for this public event. Admission is free and gates open at noon with game starting at 1:00. This is event is made possible by the McLean County Republicans, Corn Crib and other area businesses.

  1. Police are a socialist idea. There is no reason why any red, white, and blue american should ever support that socialist dribble of state sponsored rule enforcers. They are totally anti-freedom.
