District 87 survey to replace Barry Reilly

The survey has 31 characteristics you think the next superintendent should have. You get to pick 10, comments can also be entered. Two on the list show being “woke” is what they will be looking for if you don’t demand the kids are educated instead of indoctrinated:

The survey will be available until September 7th.

If you missed the comments by students a few months ago at a school board meeting, review them on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCF0QR8B_GUjnxvS7gMntxJg

Instead of being educated to believe America is a place where dreams can be attained, many of those students think America is evil. District 87 needs a Superintendent who understands why America is the place many oppressed people run to. Leadership needs to dump the Marxist ideology. If parents and the community don’t demand it, the indoctrination agenda will continue.

Schools are most of your property tax bill. Demand an end to funding leftist propaganda!

  1. Interesting. I don’t think you can support equality and equity at the same time. They are like oil and water, they don’t mix.
I can’t wait for their new woke talk to turn into actions in our schools and I hope parents have some good lawyers on speed dial.

  2. Done, I really hope they get a big wake-up call when the survey is completed. Of course, they will do as they please regardless of what the peasants say they want in the new hire, because they are the smart people and they know best.

  3. Survey Monkey is the worst recruitment tool for the position of School District Superintendent. Whoever put this list together should be ashamed. The list could be made shorter and more concise and allow for 10 of 20 responses or 5 of 10. I hope the search Committee ends up using a more sophisticated method.

    1. I do agree, some of the choices were ridiculous IMO as well. What a LOT of people want is someone who actually wants schools to turn out students who can actually read, write, express themselves, have at least a a good basic grasp on history, geography, economics and civics/government, basic science and be able to do practical math – but I guess that’s too much to be expected….
