January’s meetings will be on Zoom, get ready for lots of “Can you hear me now?”

Zoom isn’t free, but at least we don’t have to watch masks up to people’s eyes! (hopefully)

Afraid of COVID, but staff is back to traveling:

It would take a FOIA to find out who got these:

Is there a crime wave at the Coliseum:

Is it possible to have a meeting without feeding yourselves at public expense?

It would take a FOIA to find out how many months the library plans to rent a cargo van and why:

This one would also take a FOIA – it isn’t charged to any department:

  1. Funny they traveled to a Kronos conference. I hope they don’t use Kronos for payroll and HR. Kronos was hacked and have been down since Dec 11. Major disruptions to many businesses.

    1. True. They really have those “clients” of bloomington in their pockets. Kronos and other city/county systems and processes need to be examined- and contracts. Just cause it sounds cool and techy having folks use and run them and taxpayers pay for them and trips seems odd.

  2. Would be nice to know that tools and integrations they paid for with the “Security” stuff and who all is using and in the data, sharing and contracts “for the public good and safety.”

Seems a lot of this type of expenses and tax dollars are being thrown about.

  3. Looks like the city and folks need to stop eating so many sweets and gifting so much. Cha Ching
