Porn in Schools will be legal when Pritzker signs the bill

By: Diane Benjamin

HB 2789 passed both house in Springfield. When Pritzker signs it schools will lose funding if they ban any books – including graphic sexual pornogragraphy your kids have access to.

Rep Sharon Chung didn’t show up for the vote in the House. Sen Dave Koehler voted yes. I believe every Democrat who bothered to vote in either house voted yes, every republican voted no.

This excerpt reveals who the real extremists are:

Your kids are not safe in Public Schools.

Illinois Democrats aren’t the party of democracy, they are the extremists taking away rights.

      1. I’m not sure they gladly comply as much as they are forced to by the ISBE. Kind of like, if you want to work here, you’ll do what we say. That’s a powerful incentive.

The ISBE requires reporting on SEL achievements and have set teacher’s job descriptions to include teaching the ideological/religious beliefs of the woke. The only thing that can over-ride the ISBE is a governor that has his/her head out of the woke cloud. Won’t happen in Illinois. We are trapped like rats.

Another far-fetched option is for someone to sue the state for implementing discriminatory, sexually abusive and ideological practices in public schools. Equity in other words. It should go to the supreme court and then enforced nationwide. This should have happened years ago. Maybe too late now.

  1. That’s how Socialist work isn’t it. You don’t get to decide what is best.

How was the new Secretary of State spining this, “there are extremist that want to ban books”.

I suppose that would work both ways if you asked to have a book added to a library or donated it and they said no. Could that not be the same as saying we are banning your book? But considering how Socialist work they would give some other reason.

  2. When the bill is signed the Bible best be in libraries as well If it isn’t then the libraries are in violation of law. What good for one is good for all.

    1. That’s a good point DJ.
Freedom of religion, guaranteed under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution has two parts: Government may not either promote religion (the “establishment clause”) or prevent people from practicing their religion (the “free-exercise clause”).

To be clear, Illinois is forcing government run (public) schools to teach an anti-religious ideology.
Equity is the demotion or replacement of religious beliefs, which makes it a religion and against the 1st amendment.

Or you could say that Illinois has decided that personal religious beliefs are no longer valid or important and therefore they can teach whatever they want that attacks religious belief.

This has to go the federal courts soon. What am i missing?
