Is the BNWRD Board really going to approve a Property Purchase without a PRICE?

By: Diane Benjamin

The BNWRD meeting is tomorrow:

From the doc below:

The Public never attends BNWRD meetings. The taxable value of this property payable in 2023 was $21,900 meaning the value is around $65,700. It has a 2160 square foot shed already priced into the value according to the County records.

Since staff is asking for permission to buy it without a price, the only way to know what is paid is by FOIA or searching payments. Of course by then it’s too late to know the negotiated price or protest it.

Seriously BNWRD?

The meetings aren’t live streamed, so attending is the only way to know if this item is approved until the minutes are released next month.

Documentation for the purchase of 5.23 Acres – 1027 Alexander Road.
