Bloomington’s Last Meeting of the Year

The Council will take the final vote on raising your property taxes. Tis the season . . .

The Finance Director will give his monthly report – he should present it before the property tax vote but won’t. The City has plans for your money. You aren’t allowed to keep and spend it yourself.

Payroll shows 976 employees: https://www.bloomingtonil.gov/home/showpublisheddocument/29892/638374743316007072

Below are summaries for ONE check run – Coliseum and BCPA. Click the link and go to PDF page 116. Both have more spending on PCards.

I wonder if that first one is a typo: Dobski.

  1. Un elected bureaucrats and staff eat and travel at your expense whenever and wherever they want and there is not a thing you can do about it.

    except…

citizens can ELECT with their vote alderpersons and mayors that can LEAD , use the word No and when necessary , Fire these people.

Until then , citizens are just gum on their shoe, little more than an annoyance.
