I was going to redact the guy’s name in the hope District 87 had the good sense to fire him. Since numerous complaints have been made about his harassment and inappropriate comments to female students AND he hasn’t been fired yet – I’m not redacting his name.
The presentation by the Bloomington Fire Chief at the Bloomington City Council meeting last night sealed my decision. He claimed his staff is talented and highly trained. Here’s a guy he should reconsider because female students are afraid to go to his class. The Chief talked about new recruiting initiatives, this guy guarantees District 87 won’t be feeding job applicants to the City.
I have other proof showing why David White should not be near a school. The complaint below that was filed with the Illinois State Board of Education recaps that proof. It was filed with them because the BACC director Bryce Hansen “talking” to Dave White did nothing but promote retaliation by White.
The females taking the EMT and Fire Science classes deserve better.
This is sickening. But of course this is the same Fire Department who continues to employ a guy who physically abuses his girlfriend. David White is in Violation of Title IX. An investigation needs to be open. If he was harassing a boy pretending to be a girl, he’d be fired immediately.

A retiring CEO comes to mind. But hey, morals mean nothing when you are making money for yourself and others. BN was always full of fakes and frauds that ran everything from the country clubs. Who you knew was always more important than what you knew and how you conducted yourself. So glad to be gone. Nothing will ever change there. All hail to R.J. and Rivian!!!

How is he still employed? D87 needs to do better. This is 2024, not 1994. These comments are not only sexist and harmful, but the fact that the students went to the director and still nothing has been done. I will “talk” to him. NO! Fire his ass. I back first responders 1000%. What I do not tolerate is abhorrent behavior that is swept under the rug because someone is a first responder. Where are the parents? Why are they not screaming this from the rooftops?

Funny how a few firemen jumped into the Carlton case without knowing facts, but when it is one of their own…crickets. Shows that all professions have rotten apples…not just what you want to select. Where is the outrage from BFD? Where is the outrage from Gleason?
