Minorities other than blacks must be able to get a photo ID because they didn’t make the list of the disenfranchised people who couldn’t vote if an ID is required.

Doesn’t claiming blacks can’t get a photo ID make the LWV racists?
A photo ID is required for almost everything but voting. Trust in elections is at an all time low. If the LWV can’t support voter ID by using the same worn out arguments that have been used for decades, they aren’t serious about secure elections.
Obviously the League of Women Voters doesn’t care about secure elections, or even making them look secure so citizens would have confidence in the result. The League of Women voters has no credibility.

I think the League of Women Voters simply want to cheat
You have absolutely no evidence that elections aren’t secure. Zero. You have no evidence that that this country’s elections or Illinois elections are “fixed”. Photo ID? How the heck in the in the entire 248 years that this country has been voting we didn’t have or need Photo ID.’s? The only function of Photo ID’s is to suppress voters.
Why are you against our country and its freedoms? The freedom to vote should not be impeded. To say elections aren’t secure is to place our country’s institutions at risk. The one thing we do in this country is to vote, that’s not the case in every country. You obviously don’t care about this country’s freedoms, you just love to bloviate with your uninformed ignorance about Democratic Party and your constant unhinged rants about the League of Women Voters. There is no voter fraud that changed the outcome of the last election or any election.
It pretty rich that you sit around complaining about college students protesting, but you have not condemned the January 6th insurrection where Trump supporters smashed windows and doors in the Capital building. Trump supporters injured over 140 police in one of the most violent incidents in the history of this country. That was about forcibly trying to stop the peaceful transfer of power, the corner stone of this country since its founding. Tom, maybe you could list your evidence that people are impeded from voting or not free to vote. Some stats like the number of people that wanted to vote but could not vote for any reason would be helpful. Not just nebulous accusations and suppositions.
By the way, you may not have heard that there has been quite a bit of evidence post-election about forged ballots, copied ballots, uncounted ballots, “lost” ballots, or ballots that didn’t have their signatures recorded.
Furthermore, where has it been determined that Jan 6 was an “insurrection”? Who has been tried for, convicted, or executed for “insurrection” by the infamous Jack Smith? (HIs document case against Trump is falling apart btw. He’s more likely to got to jail.) Evidence please. Did you hear that Trump initiated the handover of power prior to Jan 6 or that he asked for peaceful demonstration? Hardly worthy of execution I think.
Facts? Better check yours better. Even our own ex governors and politicians (some arrested some not) say election rigging is a “tradition” in Illinois and throughout the country.
