Obviously Normal is included in the population. Champaign-Urbana is #34, Chicago area is #36, Decatur is #24. California has numerous cities that made the list.

The decline of this area all started back in the late 70’s when Funks Seed Co. closed, followed by Modine, GTE, Eureka Williams, etc.
