Bloomington Agenda: https://d3n9y02raazwpg.cloudfront.net/cityblm/f7056f24-5bbe-11ee-ae13-0050569183fa-791fe512-602c-4d20-98c8-ecdbbed39134-1716574900.pdf

There are two annexation Public Hearings for land on W Washington. On the regular agenda is approving the annexations. I have no idea why a solar farm wants to be inside the City limits. https://d2kbkoa27fdvtw.cloudfront.net/cityblm/2216655a5d132afd5554038e390ffa4c0.pdf

Road resurfacings for next year won’t be bid since the City thinks only Rowe would bid. They want to negotiate a contract instead: https://d2kbkoa27fdvtw.cloudfront.net/cityblm/8087dd5de43ad0fbf92372bb3af19e5f0.pdf

The roads the City is planning to resurface haven’t been posted yet. It won’t be anywhere near enough: https://blnnews.com/2024/05/18/proof-your-roads-will-never-get-fixed/

I bet you can read the rest of the agenda yourself! Give it a try. Maybe the City Manager or Finance Director will convey how they plan to make up the money Pritzker’s budget is taking from them by eliminating the 1% grocery tax. They did estimate the loss at over $3 million previously.

  1. More Illinois Farm Bureau and farm finance orgs (et. al.) U of I and IWU/ISU alumni fake elites/progressive leaders and ESG nepotistic money funnel projects (modernization and infrastructure fakes) calling themselves Republicans (perks) Dems in disguise getting rich off taxpayer research “projects”

Dont be deceived- them and their kids don’t get wealthy by looking old school

They dont get rich by working that hard – trust me

  2. The two city councils can’t wait for the grocery tax to end so they can start jacking it up just like water rates and motor fuel taxes Just wait, you thought state controlled grocery tax was bad BLONO sees big money coming from the city grocery tax.
