Yes, cramming local elections close to divisive national elections is on purpose. You are expected to not notice or vote, thanks for complying! Turnout is ridiculously low for electing people taxing you to DEATH. The big ones are: Both City Council and School Boards
I couldn’t find any mention of the April 1 election on the Bloomington Election website, of course they don’t have to answer to anyone since they aren’t elected. https://bloomingtonelectionsil.gov/
The County Clerk site has information: https://www.mcleancountyil.gov/2045/2025-Elections
Candidates can begin circulating petitions August 20th. People who want fiscal responsibility and common sense are still needed for Ward 1 and Ward 7 in Bloomington. If far leftists Jenna Kearns and Molly Ward run unopposed – look in the mirror for who to blame for high taxes.
Contact me for more information.

Who is going to run in Wards 3,5, and 9 or are people still needed in those wards?
They need to announce, not me
Nevermind. Just looked it up online. Some guy named David Dunn is running in Ward 5. Not sure who the other folks are though.
Not a bane I heard. Far left is recruiting candidates
I guess David Dunn could be running for School Board, but there is definitely a right-leaning candidate in Ward 5 planning on running for something. He has already received a significant sum of money from Common Sense McLean County.
well you lost me at mclean county common sense pac. ..
small time local RINO money funnel – think mitt romney / adam kinzinger etc
hard pass
might want to double check yor look up skillz…
david dunn is the republican county board candidate in district 7
More than happy to circulate petitions, help navigate the red tape, etc for any good Normal, Unit5, or NPL candidates. Or if there aren’t any, happy to help other good candidates.
– SUPPORT good candidates if you have them!
– RECRUIT good candidates if you don’t have them!
– BE a good candidate if you can’t find any!
When do we start seeing information about school board elections? How do we see the candidates or sign up to run?
