The ERA wasn’t introduced to Congress 101 years ago. It was discussed by women who got the women’s right to vote passed. It was brought to Congress by feminists and passed bother Houses in 1972. It needed to be ratified by 38 states, and expired in 1979 three states short. Congress extended the deadline until 1982, but it still failed to be ratified.
The League of Women Voters wants Biden to change the rules just for them:
The link with their demands claims women continue to face discrimination of the basis of sex. Note they didn’t use the words GENDER. I agree since women in sports are discriminated against every time a male pretending to be a women claims first place, steals a female scholarship, or wins an Olympic metal.
Of course their wording doesn’t protect those women from discrimination.
Males and females are different and will never be equal. Males are better at some things than woman, woman are better than males at others. The ERA is dead and needs to remain dead.
Like every leftist group, it you are losing change the rules.
ERA aside, this post explains to me why when I asked if you had any thoughts about people who believe that the 19th amendment should be repealed, you declined to defend your own right to vote.
I probably thought it was a stupid question since only fear mongers mention things that aren’t happening.
