Audrey Hale was obviously mentally ill when she shot up a school. She thought she was a male and repeated mentioned she wanted to die. I believe she says she had been on puberty blockers since 2007. She also claimed to have autism and repeatedly said she hated her father. She was a fan of the Columbine school shooters and wanted to make them proud.

God must be sad the way our world is “progressing”. I read a lot of history and I’m unaware of anytime where morals are more screwed up. Where the societal norms are more shattered. Not even during war time are values more in disregard.
God is the reason for EVERYTHING in the world, including this….soooo…is he really all that great?

Guns don’t shoot all by themselves? Why then is the United States the only advanced industrial nation to have repeated school shootings? Not only that we have people who shootings target black people, Jewish Synagogues, people attending movies, people attending a live musical concert or a 4th of July parade. It’s the guns. This country has more guns than people. Guns also play a large part in suicides and domestic violence.
Again the United States is the only country that has people who justify gun violence. The latest school shooter is 14 years old. How did he get a gun? His father. The 14 year old shooter isn’t transgender, he had easy access to a gun. If he and every mass shooter didn’t have access to guns, then mass shooting wouldn’t happen. Justifying gun violence with a claim that guns don’t shoot themselves is a copout. Mass shooting do not happen in a vacuum, the glorification of guns in this country is the reason why we have repeated gun violence.

Now that I’m awake I will respond. We aren’t the only nation to have mass shootings, that’s just a talking point. If evil doesn’t have a gun they kill many people with swords, knives, or fertilizer bombs. You want to take guns from law abiding citizens to punish those who aren’t. This 14 year old’s dad bought him the gun for Christmas after law enforcement came to their house last year because the kid posted on line threats. The dad was arrested as he should have been. He’s not the first irresponsible parent to be prosecuted and shouldn’t be the last.
Should cars be banned because they kill people? Under your logic they should. We have a government that lies constantly. The 2nd Amendment was written to protect us from the government. There is no glorification of guns, just people who know history and what happens to people who can’t defend themselves against tyranny. Prosecute crimes, jail gun violators instead of releasing them the way Illinois does. Demand personal responsibility and common sense instead of talking points.
If people cared about keeping kids safe teachers would be allowed to be armed is they choose to be. Gun free zones kill people. Get some facts before posting propaganda.

Alex Leeds …… consider history. We are the only modern industrialised nation that was never a feudal state. All the rest, European and Oriental were. Peasants couldn’t have swords or long bows. The Samurai and Emperors were the ruling warriors of the East, Kings and Queens in the West. Only in America could the commoner be armed. Time evolved until the AR15 is the new “sword”, with it the commoner can defend his property, his freedom, and his life, and defend against a tyrannical government! NO WHERE else is that possible. And I’m going to really step out next….if the price we pay is a few dozen innocent lives so be it, I don’t subscribe to the “if it saves one life” argument, not when there’s 300+ million people involved ….especially when we know those lives were lost because of societal illness not because we can have modern swords. Society is sick from the leftist influence of diversity, gender confusion, and enhanced racial conflict, all fueled by the progressive leftist policies of defund the police, no bail, free criminals, open borders, and a litany of really stupid ideas.
There are about 4000,000 Amish living here in the United States. Not once has there been a mass shooting among the Amish. Take a look at their lifestyle and values. Anyone that brings up Nickel Mine must remember that the shooter wasn’t Amish but his victims were. Young children learn how to shoot and hunt. They aren’t perfect, many live with the same struggles we do but their priorities are in the right place. This Country has a mental health issue, not a gun issue and criminals will always find a way to get guns. The law abiding citizens need to be left alone and real criminal justice needs to take place. Execute these killers and the gun violence will be greatly reduced.
