Somebody tried to legalize the schools

By: Diane Benjamin

This is the original verbiage on the April1cent.info website that most of the McLean County schools linked to from their school websites:

“Asking” voters to approve is a violation of law as stated in this story: https://blnnews.com/2025/02/09/since-election-interference-isnt-prosecuted/

This is what it says now:

Whoever tipped them off and whoever changed the website wants you to believe a burglary isn’t illegal and can’t be prosecuted if the burglar changed his mind and returned the stolen property.

Laws don’t work that way. Of course this is Illinois where government is never held accountable by anyone who took an oath to do it.

If you reward the schools by voting Yes for a 1% Sales Tax you are complicit in their fraud.

  1. The latest website is still promoting, advertising, and marketing the 1% sales tax with the logo. Just by mentioning the referendum or even referring to it, in my opinion, is illegal.

Why not say, “Support DOGE!” “Send an Email to Elon with ideas on how to save taxpayer money!”

    Bet that wouldn’t happen.
