Political Clash: Cody’s Claims Against Brady’s Record

By: Diane Benjamin

The back side of Cody Hendricks’ illegal mailer bashed Dan Brady. It claimed Brady supports Trump’s extreme MAGA agenda. That means Cody must stands for waste, fraud, and abuse of your money. He must also support keeping criminal aliens roaming the streets. Americans without TDS don’t support either. We know Cody has the FAR left vote, only voters can prevent his radical agenda from wrecking Bloomington.

It’s hilarious for Cody to make any claims about Trump and Brady. Republicans frequently had a hard time telling whether Brady was a Republican or a Democrat when he served in Springfield. Many of his votes weren’t clearly right or left. Does Cody know the mayor doesn’t get a vote unless there is a tie (rare)?

While Cody bashes Brady thinking Mboka isn’t a threat, the current mayor has been handing out proclamations at Council meetings. He has the Indian Committee vote because they have received two just since January 1st.

Last night:

March 10th:

February 10th:

January 13th:

Many more proclamations happened late last year. Check the agenda: https://www.bloomingtonil.gov/government/city-council/meetings-agendas

Mboka hasn’t raised much money. Cody raised money mostly from unions. Dan has more money than either opponent. He has contributions from a variety of sources, the biggest being the Bloomington Police Benevolent and Protective Association.

  1. Wondering if Cody applauds the firebombing of Tesla dealerships and keying Tesla cars to retaliate against the majority vote of the current President? Does he consider Republican voters to be Nazis, or deplorables or existential threats to the community?

Which poses the question, how would Cody treat his neighbors or talk about his neighbors. Would he incite good neighbors against deplorable neighbors that didn’t vote for him? What would Cody do about the people he calls “MAGA extremists” that live and work in Bloomington? Will Bloomington be a safe place to be under a Cody administration?

Actually, these are important questions that need to be answered.

  2. Cody called for a boycott of a downtown business because the business hosted a fund raiser for Dan Brady.
Does anyone recall the last time there was a call to boycott a downtown restaurant business? It was Jenn Carillo
