The 1% Sales Tax increase approved by Mclean County for schools includes more mental health counseling. You don’t want to let these people anywhere near your kids.

It has all the buzz words to make parents feel like they care about your kids – Social Emotional Learning, Safe Supportive Care, Cultural Awareness. Read the link, this program replaces you as a parent. Your kids need you, not a mental health counselor “affirming” whatever you child thinks.

If your child thinks they are a different sex, this program will tell them they are right. Ignored will be the fact that most kids outgrow gender dysphoria. Gender affirming care can permanently make your child sterile. Children don’t understand consequences of decisions. That is why kids don’t have the same rights as adults.
Your child needs you, not counselors conveying values different from yours and keeping them a secret.

Most kids experience mental health issues because growing up is hard. Parents teach coping skills. Your kids don’t need outside forces giving Safe Supportive Care that affirms whatever fantasy is floating around this week.
Get your kids out of Illinois Public Schools or make sure they are never allowed secret “counseling”.

This is why a male teacher at Unit 5 paints his fingernails so he can get grade schoolers to talk about sexual orientation or why gay/queer flags are hung in classrooms to quiz children about what it means.
This is why our 11 year old grandchild was approach by two older girls he didn’t know at a pool and asked if he wanted a girlfriend. When he said no, they asked him if he was gay.
Our school systems are destroying our children’s lives and then they have the audacity to want to counsel them on mental health?
Oh yes- just keep paying
Co plain or say anything to boardir staff and guardians and parents become target to be tracked and harassed and blacklisted digitally (safety ya know)
