Normal…..Bloomington, whatever. It’s all lost as is the whole state.
Both. BN was always filled with people that didn’t care about anyone or anything but themselves. Having a good time and not working that hard was the main concern of a majority of the residents. Things like voting, having a moral compass or having God in their lives was way down the list of priorities. There was never a sense of community nor was their any real leadership. Anything anyone did was all about personal advancement or screwing a neighbor. The community was always marked by the sick politicos as a target for perverted leftists. The state Dem party with the help of Socialist organizations based in Chicago and local organized labor poured money into local elections to help out the carpetbaggers they intentionally placed there. ISU and IWU along with the teachers unions and others were more than happy to help. Local government was also infiltrated with these types on there staffs that promoted all the leftist programming you see today. You are correct. BN is dead along with the State of Illinois.
Duroc, you are so right there are those that would say we are just being negative, I would respond no we are just being realistic. The left leaning people have learned how to manipulate the system starting with letting students who are in the community for only 4 years vote in the local election and we know how liberal colleges can sway student voters.
Bloomington normal has become cities without any form of conservative values.
And will never change the only fix is what our forefathers did revolt and destroy the existing powers. Will never happen but realistically is the only fix.
All I can hope is figure out how to get out of this city and state

Socializing grocery stores
Defy federal immigration law
Release more people pretrial or divert them from prosecution entirely, aiming to close Rikers Island prison.
Government control of rent
Free public transportation
Free Childcare
Increasing taxes
We have to assume policies such as these are ones she would favor on a local level.
Socialists have to be flushed out of hiding.
I was told she is the future of the local Democratic Party
The democratic socialists of America only have 80,000 members nation wide.
So the ones like Krystal who call themselves Democrats but are are clearly Socialists don’t advertise their true affiliation knowing they would be rejected if found out.
They’re playing a game of hide and seek but America is getting wise.

Time to step up before Illinois totally swirls down into the toilet!
