Since Krystle Able calls herself a Democratic Socialist, she of course supports the far left guy running for mayor of New York. She doesn’t know history, most socialists are elected using talking points that sound nice but don’t work.

Meanwhile, people who know history are handing out cards in New York City with the facts people like Krystle want to ignore:

Did Bloomington see this? Quit changing things on the website that work – fix your SEARCH engine! The below is from a newsletter the City receives from ICMA:
CivicPlus just released findings from the largest-ever resident satisfaction survey, with responses from over 26,000 participants. The results reveal a striking connection between digital experiences and resident perceptions of local leadership.
Here’s what the data revealed:
– Only 41% of residents describe their local government website as very or extremely easy to navigate
– But residents who rate their municipal website as extremely or very easy to navigate report significantly higher levels of trust in their local government—88% compared to just 43% among those who find their website difficult to use
– The message is clear: intuitive, accessible digital experiences aren’t just nice to have, they’re essential for maintaining resident trust and satisfaction.

Bloomington Is One of the Hottest ZIP Codes in Illinois—Here’s Why
Excerpts:
The rankings highlight ZIP codes where listings are drawing outsized attention and moving quickly, even as much of the nation sees a cooler housing market.
Bloomington’s mix of affordability, steady job opportunities, and small-city amenities has placed it among the most competitive spots in the country for home shoppers.
Bloomington’s placement on the list underscores how smaller metros and regional anchors can compete with coastal hotspots. With homes priced well below many national peers, yet selling at a quick clip, Bloomington is showing that affordability and accessibility remain powerful draws.
As Hale points out, these value-oriented suburbs and smaller metros will likely stay at the forefront of buyer demand. In an era when affordability is stretched, Bloomington’s steady pace, competitive pricing, and lifestyle offerings make it one of Illinois’ strongest housing markets in 2025.
Missing Middle? Where?

See how much housing prices have increased in the last 5 years in Bloomington, Normal, and many surrounding towns: https://www.santafenewmexican.com/life/features/cities-with-the-most-expensive-homes-in-the-bloomington-illinois-metro-area/article_0934a052-fb05-55c7-b450-3353f082fc00.html
Did your property taxes increase this much? Did your income? Think a crash isn’t coming?

Remember when Bloomington bought license plate readers? I remember various groups showing up to protest because they violate civil rights. Everyone was guaranteed the data was private and deleted after 30 days.
Why did the Illinois Secretary of State proclaim this week that Flock could not allow access to federal immigration agencies? How did Texas law enforcement get access? https://www.thecentersquare.com/illinois/article_c55c8289-a5fa-429b-afe4-d7b13c3b035f.html
Maybe because this is in the meeting documents and nobody noticed:

It doesn’t say Flock is deleting date after 30 days, it also doesn’t say they can’t give the data away. Obviously they are.

If you have kids in Unit 5 schools, ask them is they were forced to proclaim their pronouns. Social media has parents saying it happened at Normal West.
Worse, the students are required to put their pronouns under their names. I wonder who gave them that idea?

Normal West is training future activists and showing the others they must kneel.

Why was this guy charged with murder when the Illinois governor goes out of his way to provide free abortions?

Telling people over and over and over that killing a baby has no consequences makes some people actually believe it.
His girlfriend would have been fine killing the baby. Father’s don’t have the same rights. Life no longer has any value in Illinois. Congrats pro-choice people.
Another question: Why did WGLT do 2 stories about this guy and never use his mugshot? Because he’s black?
Pritzker signed bills this week protecting abortion providers and making sure college students have access to abortion medications. Illinois has to make sure all babies never get to breath.

This story talks about both Bloomington and Normal. It has some interesting information you won’t see anywhere else.
Bloomington is mentioned more than Normal. Things to consider before moving to Bloomington are discussed. It has a few negatives, but overall it’s positive. Crime in downtown Bloomington IS mentioned.

My son attends Normal West. I asked him about this. He has not been approached about pronouns and he doesn’t sign off on emails using pronouns. I’m not sure what activism he is being exposed to, as I often ask to see his school work.
It probably depends on what teachers your son has. Some, teachers like an infamous music teacher at one of the grade schools would love to see his students delve into the dark trans cultural abyss. He would be supported by the U5 administration because the ISBE mandates that gender fluidity should be favorably presented in the curriculum.
Eventually, when and if we see a child harmed by this social engineering experiment and the parents sue the district, it may come to an end.
I imagine that the communist mayoral candidate in NYC mobilized 4000 non-working illegal aliens or such. No big deal when they don’t have a job and are used to getting paid for doing nothing. Lol, probably had plenty of forewarning to plan on it. Spontaneous? Sure, whatever.

Unit 5 is an enabler and we see in the news today what the consequences of playing with vulnerable minds is.
Not a word on Krystal Abel’s Facebook page about Minneapolis even though she comments on much of the national news. NIOT Krystal.
