A non-profit called Truth In Accounting rated every state in a report called Financial State of the States:

Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Missouri all received a “B” rating. Illinois got an “F”.
A “B” rating means those states have a budget surplus. An “F” means an unbalanced budget and significant taxpayer burden.
Since Illinois can’t release timely financial statements, Illinois government obviously isn’t fiscally responsible.

The report is easy to read even for people who know nothing about accounting. Definitely worth reading the introduction.
People continue to leave Illinois. This reports proves they are financially better off gone than staying.
Democrats are hell bent on bankrupting Illinois. Sad!
Wow, how refreshing, An easy to read statement, that is logical and informative.
Not a slanted opinion or cheerleading piece of backslapping nausea. A record purposefully created in such a way as to attempt to show the alleged superior intellect of the creators (usually those “report cards” from academic accreditation agencies, in which our ideologically based school system FAILS miserably. Those academics attempting to show off their, entirely life “theoretical work STUDYING” and never applying, alleged supremacy over those they assume have no “smarts”. This efficient and concise report was definitely not provided by a narcissistic bureaucrat hiding failure and corruption.
The outcome showing a financial failure and mismanagement of such profound levels, it’ll take generations of Illinoians’ to pay off the debts interest alone. Let alone start attracting business and rebuilding the decaying and long neglected infrastructure below every city, town and village.
Criminal. Pure waste and fraud.
Our welfare system is overloaded, housing is a wreck, taxes are terrible and WILL GET WORSE, and our budget is bankrupt. Cloward and Piven say – “good job JB, all according to our plan!”.
And he thinks he should be president!
Christ is Lord, to build on your comment there was a public comment in the pantagraph the other day putting Charlie Kirk in a negative light. Something like “this man never had a college degree how could he possibly start a company and run it”? Just another leftist stupid thought that a person has to have a college degree to be smart or intelligent, Jesus didn’t have a college degree explain that!!

Don’t forget the multitude of local city managers,,,Hamilton, Hales, Jergens, Reece. Then in a few months, find one of those Christmas cards with Santa sitting on a chimney like he’s using it for a toilet to brighten up their holiday season. Throw in another copy of this article.
