Chapman is teaching kids to HATE their country. He sees no intrinsic value in teaching real history. This is insurrection and your kids are being denied the truth about the Founding and the Constitution.
Unit 5 is fine with this. Just ask them.
Matt Chapman isn’t speaking truth, he’s teaching 250 years history is illegitimate. Chapman doesn’t believe in a country founded on citizens can govern themselves and Judeo/Christian principles. He wants the country destroyed and is teaching students to actively push to that goal.
“Truth” is Unit 5 needs abolished, it doesn’t exist for education. I bet Chapman has never watched J6 videos showing police holding doors to the capital open for protestors. It was a setup with a few planted to incite violence.

Imagine the vile lies and falsehoods he tells his students? He needs to be fired for being a leftest radical who would like to overthrow the duly elected president and change our country into a socialist/communist state. We need to STOP being tolerate of this radicals. We are done. It is not just difference of opinion anymore. They want something totally different for our country. And they are willing (it seems) to kill us and (probably) put anyone who disagrees with them in camps.
If the “doors were being held open” for the “pardoned J6’ers” why were they climbing the walls, smashing the windows, and vandalizing government property?

38% of Unit 5 high school students are proficient in English, and only 30% are proficient in math. That is nearly 7 out of 10 students that walk through this man’s door who cannot read, write or calculate sufficiently. The administration still throws six figures towards him and allows him to do anything but what would actually help his students succeed in life.
I don’t want anyone saying teachers are under-paid. 100 grand a year to NOT do his job.
I can tell you by living in other communities that BN and McLean County teachers are some of the best paid anywhere. My daughter-in-law has 15 years in with a suburban public school system in another state and doesn’t even begin to sniff that kind of cash. Knew a Unit Five math teacher that basically had their students do their homework most days in class while they read a magazine. Confirmed by three parents who told the same story about them.
Every single SANE parent must take their children out of Unit5 and out of ALL Illinois public schools. Unit5 in particular is full of psycho leftist administrators and teachers… much like our mayor and town council in Normal. If you do not have the courage to do this, then you yourself are part of the problem and accountable for the fall of our country. It’s that simple… do you care about your children and grandchildren having a free USA or not? Because Unit5 is “raising YOUR kids” to hate our country, all conservatives (from middle to right), and especially all Christians. Plus they are determined to make your kids suicidal and barren with their “trans” agenda. And btw, does anyone know why we TAXPAYERS are paying $621,000 for things like “HealthEquity Inc” and $1.5 million for Commerce Bank credit cards, per their recent public report?? (Maybe I missed your review, Diane… I will look back at recent articles). Thanks.

Libs of TikTok just posted the picture of Chapman with his Abolish ICE tshirt on the X platform. I think the word is out. Unit 5’s website was also posted showing where he works.

You should take a look at LaTishia Baker. She comes to class late everyday, likes to wear an abolish ice shirt and rant about her own personal beliefs. I’m not sure she even understands how the government works based on some of her comments.

I’m in his class, he’s never pushed his opinions on us minus wearing the “abolish ice” shirt. He teaches us to question everything and is one of the nicest teachers I’ve met. Right now we are learning about the constitution, something the current administration could use a refresh on. Don’t trust everything you read
I bet he claims Trump is violating it. Has he used court rulings to justify his thoughts? Has he told you almost every ruling by activist federal judges has been reversed on appeal?
