What ObamaCare really is

By: Diane Benjamin

Did you know Dick Durbin was one of the rogue Democrats who voted to reopen government? Either he was terrified of Republicans voting to abolish the filibuster or he decided to do the right thing since he’s not running for re-election.

Of course Krystle Able would show her outrage by quoting the Marxist/Communist Bernie Sanders:

Bernie used to have millionaires and billionaires in his rants but he had to drop millionaires when word got out he is one. Tax breaks for billionaires is also a lie, but whatever works is used.

Here’s what Obamacare really is – a redistribution plan to make insurance companies rich.

Excerpt:

Lowering costs was never the goal and definitely not the result. Corporations control healthcare now. Doctors are not allowed to treat patients outside of corporate edicts.

We spend more than any other country on healthcare while the population gets sicker.

Democrats want more subsidies? Republicans say NO.

    1. Jason, here’s the straight talk:
      US debt? $38 trillion.
Healthcare? Eating 17.6% of our economy today—headed to 20.3% by 2033.
Every year, hundreds of billions get torched on fraud, waste, and abuse—$224B+ in Medicare alone, another $27B in ACA subsidies going to people who shouldn’t get a dime.

Obamacare’s “sticker” premiums climbed 17% since 2020, but thanks to $115 billion in taxpayer subsidies (way above inflation), most folks never felt it. Without those handouts, their bills would’ve jumped 33%. In 2026, when the subsidies vanish, expect a 114% gut punch.

      Dems: “Keep pumping the cash.”
GOP: “This thing’s broken—let’s fix it.”

Government can’t run healthcare. Our government definitely can’t.

    1. As much as I’d love to blame Obamacare – and it Did make things worse – other government actions well before ACA had already thrown our healthcare pricing out of whack. Making health insurance, especially ‘Cadillac coverage’ insurance, a non-taxable work benefit; Medicare; Medicaid; and probably other programs and policies all created a large influx of money into healthcare. From there, basic economics took over – If you have more money chasing a given good or service, the price will go up. (more than it would have otherwise)

  1. Don’t forget litigation. Everyone, regardless, gets every high tech test, only the best (most expensive!!) or they’ll sue. I spent FIVE days in the hospital, no surgery only tests and antibiotics, $105,000.00 !!! That’s insane. Plus try to find an American doctor. So many East Indians! Can’t understand their jib jab lingo and have no idea if they know what they’re doing. Big business getting bigger thanks to government assistance..
