Connect Transit – No Documentation

By: Diane Benjamin

Tomorrow Connect is holding 2 meetings. The first one is the annual meeting where officers are elected: https://connect-transit.com/file/4099/Agenda_Annual%20Meeting_03%2031%202026.pdf

The second meeting is the usual monthly meeting, but this time they didn’t include any documentation: https://connect-transit.com/file/4100/Agenda_Regular%20Session_03%2031%202026.pdf

Was ridership and the monthly loss for February too ridiculous to provide?

Are the Audit Results really bad?

What changes are they making to the Fare Policy?

How much is the budgeted loss for FY27?

What’s the 5 year Transportation Improvement Program?

Is everything a secret? Without documentation the Board could just vote without discussion.

Maybe documentation is too difficult without a Managing Director. If you are wondering where David Braun ended up when he resigned in December, according to LinkedIn he’s a self employed consultant:

  1. Weird Braun’s LinkedIn page doesn’t credit himself with overseeing reoccurring $1.5 million monthly losses and decreasing ridership.

That must be the “boutique” experience he is selling in his new consulting gig.

  2. Any government entity that presides over multi-million dollar losses of the taxpayers hard earned money should concentrate all of its efforts on nothing more than eliminating the shame of its existence.
It does start with asking hard questions like you are doing Diane.

  3. “A boutique consulting firm?” What in the hell is that?!?
    About-a-queen consulting. Oh, ok.
