Krystle Able’s Controversial Claims on Township Voting: What You Need to Know

By: Diane Benjamin

One thing good about Krystle Able: She responds to FOIA requests on the same day I file them!

It goes downhill for her from there. You wouldn’t know that if all you read was WGLT: https://www.wglt.org/local-news/2026-04-15/normal-township-approves-ballot-question-on-pro-israel-state-law

Follow-up to this story: https://blnnews.com/2026/04/15/what-really-happened-at-krystles-meeting/

Krystle claims putting the anti-Israel question on the Township Agenda was citizen led. Explain this Krystle:

Lots of Democrat controlled Township Boards in Illinois had citizens bring up the same idea? Sure.

It gets worse.

Krystle claimed many students couldn’t be found on the list of Township voters provided by the County Clerk’s office. This is the heading to the sign-in sheet for Tuesday’s meeting:

5 people signed with addresses that aren’t in Normal:

I bet these 5 weren’t registered voters in Normal. I bet they and Krystle thought nobody would check the list. How many students who did sign aren’t registered to vote in Normal? You bet I’m checking! I’m told students who couldn’t be found on the Normal Township voters list went to the State Board of Elections on their cell phone to prove they are registered. That doesn’t prove they are registered in Normal.

The question passed 31-21. Take 5 off the 31. Was this legally passed or just passed? Stay tuned.

The local left wonders why Krystle Able is a frequent a topic here. Because of the below and her desire to end capitalism. The people who still believe America is a great country need to know who wants to wreck it.

  1. Why are people electing these idiots? I hope they reap what they sow and stay in Illinois. I’m moving.

  2. I smell a lawsuit… please keep on pursuing this. Also, I wish I was a fly on the well when Krystle received your FOIA email. hahaha

  3. I agree that people outside of normal should not be allowed to sign that. However, to say that the government of Israel can’t be protested because it’s anti semitic is exactly what leftists do when they want support for their cause. “Support my beliefs or you’re a racist, sexist, homophobic, and everything else under the sun”. I’m allowed to criticize and boycott elected officials from another country. It’s not anti semitic.
