In other words, the new property tax bills have been posted. You will never own your property, you are renting it from government. If you live in the County you will be charged for the airport without a vote by you. Springfield elected officials passed it because Dave Koehler presented it. Taxation without representation is illegal, Illinois doesn’t care.
I will have much more to say, but I’m really busy today! Keep in mind the two properties below are modest. People must enjoy being fleeced since few bother to vote in local elections. All the taxes on your bill are LOCAL.

Wait. I thought the schools would need less in property taxes with the 1% sales tax. But they are getting more. Huh. Go figure.
Just remember, your precious government schools, where half of the kids can’t read or do math at grade level, make up about 2/3rds of your property tax bill, plus 15% of your sales tax. And the superintendents all got raises to make $300k, plus awards for vague purposes!
