Notable items from last night’s Bloomington Committee of the Whole meeting:

Jurgens also stated the City has 100 year old water mains and they leak. He knows they are behind replacing them.
Lesson for voters (those few who bother to vote): Electing progressives means New-New-New instead of maintaining what already exists. Progressives always have a new program is create, citizens get to pay higher taxes as a result.
Friday is Juneteenth so of course City offices have to close. The celebration isn’t until Saturday however:

Remember to remind everyone who has ears that Juneteenth is the celebration of the Republicans’ biggest victory over the Democrats. Because that’s what it is, at its root.
Curious how much water is “lost” during water main breaks which have begun to occur on the East side.
