Below is a payment to the Bloomington Election Commission which is paid by County taxpayers, not City of Bloomington:

Of course no one has oversight over this office, especially not the people paying the bills. Taxation without representation!

The only item on the Regular Agenda is an agreement with Habitat for Humanity:

At last Monday’s Committee of Whole meeting this was briefly discussed. Staff implied 2 houses could be built for $40,000 each. According to the above, that is merely the City’s portion. Several Council members questioned Patrick Cordaryl about that claim. I wonder if they will feel mislead tonight? Probably not since staff is always right.

Probably another short meeting.
