These are all the cheapest gas prices in each State, the local price isn’t close to Rock Island. The cheapest price in McLean County is Sam’s Club at $3.99.
Who you vote for matters, unless you like being fleeced.

Another buck or two and Veterans Parkway traffic is solved. Add four bucks and it will be a walkers paradise. Exceept of course in cold or inclement weather as debris and tumbleweeds take over.
The county Public Safety and Mental Health sales tax, plus the School Sales Tax, are charged each time you fill up the tank (9.75% now).
But please, Mclean County Democrats, cry more about how unaffordable our community is.
@DOGE ILLINOIS – the McLean County Democrats refuse to take any accountability for driving up the cost of living, but they are super fast to allocate our tax money to show how they are going to “solve” the problem they created with their HIGH taxes on everything.
Local Motor Fuel tax is used for local streets. One-quarter of one % sales tax increase in 2016 goes to Public Safety & Mental Health…one-quarter of one % of that tax increase goes to streets. One-quarter of one % of 2006 tax increase goes to BCPA/Arena debt.
In other words, former taxes were still in general fund while new taxes were passed to fund these and things like garbage. Make people pay for services but keep the old taxes too
The debt continues…that’s what happens when councils vote for shiny things.
