My thoughts on the election:
Bailey never had a chance to win. I tried to tell people that before the primary, they didn’t listen.
Pritzker now owns McLean County. He bought it. Democrats don’t really hate billionaires, just the ones that fund opposition.
McLean County Clerk employees need to start looking for another job. Crockett is going to replace all of you with his people.
Illinois gets 2 gas tax increases in 2027. Affordability was never and still isn’t the Democrats agenda. You will not see lower gas prices. You won’t see lower electricity prices either, democrats forced increases with their green agenda.
You will see affordable housing built in your neighborhood without enough parking since public transportation will replace the need. (sure) Springfield will continue to replace local governments with their agenda. This is one of them.
Congress will do little but hold investigations and impeachments for the next 2 years.
Republicans didn’t show up to vote. Congrats.
Democrats voted for two guy who don’t want the job. Pritzker wants to be president and Alexi Giannoulias want to be mayor of Chicago. Nice.

Numerous states passed Voter ID. Of course Illinois didn’t even try.
Voters outside of Bloomington increased the percentages that want local judges term limited. They all got retained but by closer margins. How can you retain judges when you have no idea how they rule?
Florida has it’s first black governor. Since he’s a Republican, media won’t mention that. If he was a democrat he would be a front page story.
Prepare for chaos, those who bothered to vote want it.
When are you moving out of Illinois? The left always overplays their hand. Stay tuned.
This election was embarrassing, however, I hasten to remind voters that Hitler won the election too. We all know how that turned out. Media has shown their bias at every turn and the negative stories are bound to influence voters and when they don’t hear the other side, it is easier to go with the flow. Also, technology now affects what is publicized. We now see the results of indoctrination of young people.

AOC in 2028
As a Republican, Ive been saying this would happen for months. Trump did a number on us. We elected him to fix the economy- not start another forever war, build a ballroom, rename lakes, start trade wars that fuel inflation, and generally just make a buffoon out of himself. Hopefully, as a party, we start unhitching our wagon from him as much as possible or we’ll be in for another thumping in 2028. His constant campaigning to make the midterm about himself will go down as one of the dumbest strategies off all time.
What happened last night all across the country can be explained this way: Trump stupidity, Israel fatigue, ignorant liberal females, sexual perverts voting for perversion and in your face minority racism.
My biggest fear is that Democrats learn how easy it is to play Trump. They propose statehood for DC and Guam and offer to name the bill after Trump or trade it for one of his vanity projects that he sees as party of his larger legacy. Does he go for it? Maybe. I’m not convinced he wouldn’t. Or, in exchange for democratic priorities, they offer to rename things after him or do things in his honor. Im not saying Dems will do that or that it would definitely work, but it could happen.
