How about Heartland Trustee: Diaz or Hardesty? It is the only race on my ballot that will matter.
Diaz is the only one I know
Lupe is a Libertarian. That means fiscal conservative, which is probably the most important aspect of the office he’s running for. I don’t know about Hardesty.
Pretty sure Hardesty is a local union business manager.
Great editorial! Great candidates!
Interesting that the writer left off Karen Schmidt. Can’t blame ’em but still Schmidt is better that socialist radical Carillo.
I’m happy to report that I voted for Stan, Karyn and wrote in Karl. If anyone can get out to vote early, please do it! I waited in no lines and the people there were actually happy to see me, since I was one of only 5 people to early vote last Thursday. I’m doing everything I can on social media to spread the word and get people out to vote. It’s really our chance to take back the council and put on people who have the peoples interests at heart.
