If you search this certification on the University of South Florida website you won’t find it. Gov DeSantis signed a bill banning the teaching of DEI in Public Schools: https://www.npr.org/2023/05/15/1176210007/florida-ron-desantis-dei-ban-diversity

Excerpt:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law Monday banning the state’s public colleges and universities from spending money on diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

“If you look at the way this has actually been implemented across the country, DEI is better viewed as standing for discrimination, exclusion and indoctrination,” DeSantis said during a news conference at New College of Florida in Sarasota. “And that has no place in our public institutions.”

It has no place in Bloomington either.

  1. DEI has no place in Bloomington, or anywhere else!!!!! In practice what DEI does is replace the most qualified with most likely the least qualified. We’ve lived with Affirmative Action for decades….DEI takes that concept to a whole new level.

  2. Chief and Gleason are huge problems. Mollie Ward just adds to the mix. Her rattling about the gun commission is part of the woke agenda. Mollie—criminals are the issue. We all know that you want restorative justice meaning everybody says “sorry” and we all sing “we are family”. Let us just ignore law and order. Citizens stand by officers…just not administration.
