There is another stupid bill that needs massive opposition:
A new bill has been filed that will make diesel engines built before 2010 Illegal on Illinois roads. Diesel engines can last for 30 years go for up to a million miles. If this law passes, it will go into effect IMMEDIATELY. It adopts California emission standards. As you may have guessed, the three co-sponsors are all from the Chicago area. The bill is HB1634. It has a committee hearing this Tuesday, Feb 20.
California passed this bill, many trucks can no longer be driven in California. Do you like seeing stocked shelves at the grocery store?

oppose this garbage! this is exactly what CA did…the whole “supply chain” issue was directly related to their idiotic decisions. older trucks couldnt enter CA and i believe non-union owner/operators couldnt access the shipping yards. mob-run BS, good ole unions
Mike Matekja and John Penn would call you are far right conspirator for your accurate views on the situation. That said, they made a great career out of political intimidation and sticking their hands in the wallets of their own membership while attending Super Bowl parties at the Dobski’s.
