Dick Durbin posted this on X yesterday. Dickie doesn’t understand local governments don’t spend money on essentials because essentials aren’t fun. Essentials won’t get anyone memorialized like building entertainment venues and bike paths. Infrastructure is falling apart because progressives think government is essential instead of their job is ONLY to provide what citizens can’t on their own. Increasing the deficit is immaterial.

Israel doesn’t care what an orchestrated mob in Naperville thinks. It’s hilarious to believe public opinion is going to stop Israel from wiping out the terrorists that killed over 1000 people and is still holding hostages – including Americans. Will the far left try this stunt here? Why aren’t they calling for ceasefire in the TWO YEAR old Ukraine-Russia war that has killed far more people?

Why is the tent city in downtown Bloomington allowed to exist? Because the local mob thinks people have a right to trash the area and government must allow it. This denies the rights of everyone else to a clean downtown. Weasel leadership kneels to the absurd.
Does the new downtown plan have a specific location for tents? It needs to.
