Why wear masks?
There is only one reason: To hide their identity.
ISU has a “microaggression” policy. The protest is more of a macro-aggression against jewish students, does that matter ISU?

The Department of Education is investigating Wesleyan for “hate-filled” speech by Palestinian supporters last fall. The marchers chanted “From the River to the Sea Palestine will be free”. One person quoted in the story claims that means living together in peace.
Laugh now, no one believes that. Hamas and the Palestinians don’t want to “live in peace”. The atrocities of October 7, 2023 prove it.
As of 2023, a range of 13% to 17% of young Americans expressed support for Hamas when asked directly, with the percentage dropping to 13% when the question included the context that Hamas is an Islamist militant group.
I expect that when push comes to shove this percentage would be much, much less because many young adults just like to be provocative. I know I did. Ignore them and 90% would be gone tomorrow. 5 or 10 of them might hang on for a little longer until they realize they look foolish.
I would say be patient this will quickly pass.
Both people have a right to peace, as do all people on earth. Unfortunately, conflicts happen.
No US taxpayer $ should be involved in this! Our veterans come first!
The ignorance is breathtaking. They have no idea what they’re, “protesting.” I’m sure they have zero clue about the history of Israel, the Holocaust, & that there is no, “palestine.”
Public education
Our very own McLean County Board Member Krystle Able…back to being the professional aggitator that she is…along with her handsome boyfriend Sonny Garcia. Ms. Able is encouraging this protest. She chants Black Lives Matter, but won’t chant Jewish lives matter. What is the word for that?? How did she get elected again? OH yes…because people in McLean County don’t care. They will care when people like her take over and keep raising your taxes.
Read last night that many of the Chicago area protesters are “paid”. No surprise. We saw this coordination with BLM and other “takeovers”
Students for Justice in Palestine is funded by far leftists and Hamas.
Yes, I think the way it works is the paid “professionals” and people like Krystal Able do enough to get the media to attend and then sit back while sad people that want to be “seen” physically and psychologically join in.
I noticed on the reporting that protesters are told not to speak to the media now. Why? Because they know most of the protestors have no idea about what they are doing and who they are supporting. They are just there because the media is there.
Is it time for billy clubs, fire hoses, tear gas, and even dogs? These students are not children, they aren’t just expressing themselves, they are supporting Hamas and violent Palestinians and hatred for America. They should be held accountable for their actions! What they espouse is unacceptable….. student visas of Palestinians should be revoked, American students should be expelled with ZERO loan assistance. The last thing that should happen is being excused as children!!!!!! When I was their age I was in a recon unit on the DMZ in Vietnam….. they aren’t children or just kids.
BTW what Northwestern is doing is beyond sickening…..full ride scholarships for Palestinians and more Palestinians as professors!! Fools….I can only imagine what will come of that.
Should we assume that wearing a “mask” in public places means they are Palestine/Hamas supporters and activists?
How about sticking to pics of protests. Wearing a mask elsewhere is a totally different condition.
I’d bet my salary if you place a world map in front of them, they can’t identify where Palestine and Israel are.
99% of the people in that picture are not ISU students. And if they are, they are violating campus rules and regulations about events on campus and should be held to any other group standard. Give them 0 attention and they will go away.
The tents have been taken down after ISU threaten to expel or fire those involved. Good for them!
