Some cities in Illinois gained jobs, Bloomington continued to lose them.

If you elect socialist guess what you get? Socialism! McLean County said it’s okay to funnel your hard earned tax dollars to other than essential services. Congrats.

I know some of the others behind the Land Trust idea, none of them are free market capitalists. Maybe WGLT can name them all in another story. You deserve to know who is behind this besides Adams and Chissell.
Instead of keeping people poor by locking them into gimmick housing they should be wondering why the area is losing jobs.
The Illinois Policy story states Bloomington had been doing better than the rest of the state. At least 2 months in a row of job losses should shock everyone because it goes against everything we are told.
If losses aren’t stopped housing won’t matter. Funny thing, people need jobs to pay for housing. Who is paying for housing illegals in McLean County? Are citizens being replaced for cheaper labor? Somebody should find out.
Good for Woodford county!! They are showing common sense. Of course Pritzker will start sending illegals south and some communities will welcome them….. with results much like when Cabrini Green shut down. We’ve forgotten the alderwoman whose husband was beaten to death out side a north Normal supermarket by some of the thugs she voted to bring down from Chicago. Karma.
