Of course it is a crime for illegal aliens to vote. It’s also illegal to cross the border. Who is prosecuting illegals for that?
WAY over the heads of anyone at the LWV:
- Local election authorities are not allowed to ask immigration status and have no access to any state of federal databases to check legal status
- Illegals in Illinois, as of July 1st, can get a driver’s license without any reference to immigration status
- Even though DMV claims to not register illegal aliens to vote, nothing stops illegals from going elsewhere to register – including LWV registration drives
Every vote by an illegal cancels the vote of a citizen.
The Brennan Center is described as a liberal and progressive nonprofit that opposes voter ID laws. Their opinion is immaterial in discussing free and fair elections. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brennan_Center_for_Justice
The CATO Institute believes any healthy and peaceful immigrant should be allowed to move in. They want to deregulate immigration meaning they are for open borders. We aren’t a country if the borders are open. https://www.cato.org/immigration
Obviously the LWV doesn’t want secure elections. If they did they would be promoting access to government databases for all election authorities so immigration status can be verified. When voting ends on November 5th and winners are declared it is too late to challenge the results. If an election is close new registrations can’t be challenged because verifying legal status can’t be done.
If the LWV wanted to increase trust in elections they would promote policies
that do increase trust instead of spewing propaganda.
Want to find out a year or two from now that large numbers of illegals voted and did affect the election? States with policies like Illinois make that very possible,
The LWV in general has drifted far from its original scope and mission . It is largely now a progressive/ social justice movement that leans FAR to the left.
It is not the LWV of your grandparents or even parents generation.
The Mclean County chapter is comprised almost solely of elder progressive socialists that harbor bitter animosity for the U.S. Constitution . They are actively trying to change the very way we vote and most importantly who can vote – think NON citizens.
Locally , they actively engage in contested races in direct violation of their own national charter.
Candidates gain nothing by participating in their events.
In fact , unless you are a socialist progressive democrat they will even slant their debate format and questions against you. Avoid.
The league of Women voters claim to be, “non-partisan” and use this as a way to garner support amongst the media or target audience.
But as in the movie, “The Princess Bride” a 1987 classic, Inigo Montoya states, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” The LWV clearly either do not understand the meaning of “non-partisan” or may possibly be misrepresenting it for their benefit.
Illegal immigrants are not voting. You have absolutely no proof beyond conspiracy theories to lean on making these allegations.
This country has run free and fair elections without any significant fraud.
One cannot walk into a polling place and cast a ballot without being on the voting rolls. Photo ID’s only would stop the rarest fraud in person fraud. If you think people are running around voting multiple times, then you believe in any cockamamie conspiracy rolling around the internet. Photo ID’s promote voter suppression. So the League of Women Voters is correct and you’re wrong.
You then claim we’re not a country because of open borders. Mexico is our largest trading partner. It would be totally impractical to actually close the border. Trump walls didn’t keep anyone out. His walls are crumbling and a wall building scheme ended in fraud and prison time for the organizers.

Really? That’s the whole point of open borders. The current administration has openly admitted to getting these illegals registered to vote. Have you not been paying attention? Voter fraud has been a staple in Chicago since it was founded on fraud. Wake up and be informed!
