im glad you brought this back up, people on bikes dont stop…they are supposed to per trail signs but its a death wish will ultimately result in the vehicles fault because police are lazy and the signs for cars says pedestrians…is a person on a bike thats supposed to follow traffic laws who doesnt stop on for a trail stop sign breaking the law? no one polices that part. common sense would be you stop, looks clear, start walking THEN the vehicle signs take effect…but no, these idiot bikers (and im talking about the serious bikers, the ridiculous looking lance armstong wannabees) dont stop, when i lived near raab i saw it with my own eyes one almost get packcaked…never stopped or looked back, 2 F’s given…the car in front of me probably peed their pants and has PTSD from it because it was close!
McLean County Wheelers were always the worst offenders. They own Koos so they get away with murder. One told me one time he would key your car if he ever got hit by a car. I told him if he keyed my car alot worse would happen to him. He just stared at me and said nothing. Of course, this dude didn’t have a job.
Dontdrinkthecoolaid is 100% on. Runners and Lance Armstrong wannabes are rude and irresponsible for the most part. Run on side walks….not in the street! And bikers, if you’re in the street, follow the same rules of the road vehicles have to. Cops need to start giving them tickets too.
Don’t get me started on the electric bikes/scooters that think they can do whatever the hell they want to. Absolutely zero enforcement from the Normal police. Infuriating.
Makes me think zero enforcement is coming from the mayor to the police department.

I wonder if the mayor’s bicycle business sells electric bikes too?
