The name of the PAC to abolish the Auditor’s office was: McLean County Citizens for Government Accountability.
If they actually believed that they would abolish the unaccountable Bloomington Election Commission.
This PAC is not required to file reports with the State of Illinois unless contributions exceeded $5000. No reports have been filed.
How were contributions made? If they were made by check a bank account would have been required. Opening a bank account requires an identification number. I can’t find any record of one in the PAC’s name.
Search for EIN number: https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/
People weren’t silly enough to contribute cash were they?
All of these groups supported Vote Yes: https://www.25newsnow.com/2024/10/25/nonprofit-group-eliminating-mclean-co-auditors-office-says-it-would-save-95000/

Together with the alleged County employee contributions they didn’t raise over $5000? Signs aren’t cheap and they were even in the country.
Yes, an investigation is needed. I hope they have a record of contributions, but then it would be fun if somebody destroyed them too.

The Illinois Election Committee should definitely be made aware…😎.
Bet the Farm Bureau regrets getting mixed up in this bunch.
The Farm Bureau also backed Sharon Chung who was behind the Airport Authority collecting taxes from the rural county. I am really questioning my membership this year. Tried looking up that sham of a pac and couldn’t find it either. Trevor Sierra said he handed them a cash envelope then discussed with Lizzy how to get his refund and if a check would be the best way. She thought the account might already be closed. Are accounts closed so soon after an election? The whole thing is a joke and will be covered up.
