I hope his list has some better choices, he missed great singers like Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. He could have used both as inspiration since both didn’t let blindness define them.
I’ve never heard of some of the people on this list, but a rapper who was murdered at 25 in a drive by shooting is worth teaching kids about?
I wonder if he had the kids read lyrics from Tupac? Did he play his vulgar music for them?

This clown is an embarrassment to education. His ideology runs through everything he teaches. He is the definition of a propagandist and he’s doing it to your kids. He won’t care if Illinois loses federal funding for teaching divisive DEI. He’ll double down and inflict even more hate on your kids.

The “fascists” don’t cut the size of the government argument is completely absurd. Of course they do! He’s not cutting the sheer size of the government, he’s cutting other agencies and parts of it that only give him more executive power.

Beirne currently represents District 10 on the Mclean County Board. How in the world did he get elected in that well -off prosperous area of town ? Did the republicans just drop the ball and not run anyone ? Beirne’s socialist progressive views certainly cannot reflect the majority of the residents he represents. Yet here we are.
And his uber socialist wife is running for city council in the same area ! Looking at the demographics and standard of living in that area. How can this even be a thing ?
Bloomington voters better wake up before bad tasting water and potholes are the least of their problems !
