Unfunded mandates on businesses are just as destructive as unfunded mandates on schools.
The only difference is businesses close while schools just fail to teach the basics.
The “just do something” ideology to increase organ donation merely grows the bureaucracy. Government doesn’t solve problems, it takes our money and creates more. Voters and this government still don’t understand where the problems originate. This stat wouldn’t be as high if Illinois businesses were allowed to thrive:

OH MY GOSH!!! I scanned through the list of the layoffs and set here wondering…. when oh when. will the State of Lincoln…and Reagan come back to life?? Are there really not enough “common sense” voters left, to change the course of this State’s “UN-holy” politics???
Seems like one of the biggest problems in Illinois is all of the UNIONS.
I know a really smart union electrician, but his Union has him brain-washed to go along with whatever they preach to him.
I say that because – He is not an independent thinker and cannot articulate his position, but only regurgitate the talking points from his Union. And he is not the only one who is out voting as he is told!
